Administrative Assistant
Type: Part-time, 15-20 hours/week, hybrid (In office/remote)
Location: SE Michigan
Compensation: $17/hour
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant is a support to program staff, fulfilling some of the following tasks:
-Communication - Writing & formatting internal and external communications (digital and printed) that engage supporters and encourage participation in DRAW’s mission.
-Database maintenance - Assisting our team by registering/tracking volunteers, tracking donors, and engaging DRAW’s network through correspondence.
-Reporting - Assisting the Executive Director/Board of Directors in creating reports to keep the organization in high standing with outside organizations and supporting companies.
-Team coordination - Acting as a facilitator between DRAW staff/volunteers when disaster responses or on-site events require overarching support.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Proficiency in Google Drive/Microsoft Office
Teachability, particularly with new software

Field Operations Coordinator
Type: Full-time
Location: SE Michigan
Compensation: $43k-$46k/year
*Up to 15 weeks of expected travel. DRAW has locations in SE Michigan, Jackson, MS, and Jacksonville, FL.
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Field Operations Coordinator would be responsible for the following:
-Volunteer & Staff coordination - recruit and develop DRAW volunteer/work teams, meant to work on the ground in disaster responses.
-Compliance/Safety - implement and oversee DRAW’s safety procedures & protocols in conjunction with our response work.
-Response coordination - coordinate both single agency and multi-agency responses to natural disasters in order to provide for the short-term needs of disaster victims.
-Outreach/”supply-raising” - procure specific Gift-In-Kind donations from donors/corporate partners, as it applies to DRAW’s ongoing disaster response work.
-Logistics management - work alongside DRAW’s Warehouse/Operations Coordinator to maintain DRAW’s inventory in each of DRAW’s warehousing locations, including prep, delivery, and distribution of supplies to disaster victims.
-Planning & Preparation - work alongside DRAW’s Equipment Manager to oversee ongoing maintenance of DRAW’s equipment, as used by the Field Ops Team.
