Learn to Crochet Day (Flood Bag pattern)
Saturday, March 7, 10am-noon, The Coffee Bucket, Waterford, MI
As part of our Green Initiative, DRAW recycles grocery bags to make "Plarn" (plastic yarn) totes for survivors after natural disasters. These bags help as they muck out their homes and salvage what belongings they may have left. Grocery bags are donated from the public, and DRAW's army of volunteers make the plarn and crochet totes to give out to disaster victims in times of need.
